Brooke Christa Camille Shields has enjoyed a diverse and celebrated career spanning nearly her entire life. Born May 31, 1965, in New York City to foundation industry executive Francis Shields and aspiring actress Teri Shields, she landed her first modeling gig—an ad for Ivory soap—in 1966 next to just 11 months not getting any younger She continued as a successful child model under the guidance of legendary agent Eileen Ford, who in her biography admitted to creating her children's division just for Brooke.
