I was listening to Sean Hannity's show on the way home from work today. Stuart Varney was a guest on the show. If you aren't familiar with Mr. Varney, you should be. He is one of the smartest guys you will find on the subject of economics and how it relates to politics. He said this version of the omnibus bill is the worst piece of legislation he has seen in his 40 years in this Country. He said it is even worse than the obamacare mess.
How anything could be worse than obamacare is beyond me, but if Varney say's it, I believe it.
If you care to peruse the full text of the bill, here is a link...
It is mind numbing reading and I think they make it that way on purpose. It seems like it is a classic case of "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit". With democrats it appears that the more brain damage your legislation causes, the easier it is to pass. But you know what? Reading this crap is their obligation. Our lawmakers owe us at least that. Passing legislation, like obamacare, without even reading it is inexcusable. It should be a terminable offense, no ifs, ands or buts. You can bet that the congressional leadership is counting on the same attitude with this monster as was present during the obamacare fiasco.
I know I have a few liberal/democrat type readers here. This affects you too. You should contact your representatives and tell them to oppose this omnibus nightmare. Billions of additional dollars in debt isn't going to do anything to help our economy...
